Maple Sugar French Toast

- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- ¼ tsp cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 teaspoon maple sugar
- 8 slices bread or use sliced baguette for bite sized pieces
- oil or butter for the pan
In a shallow bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, cinnamon, and vanilla until combined and fluffy.
Over medium heat, warm the oil or butter until shimmering.
Dip your bread into the milk and egg mixture, flip over once, and transfer to the pan for cooking.
Once browned, flip the French toast.
Sprinkle the finished side with the maple sugar.
Cook until golden brown on the second side.
Transfer to a plate and top with fresh berries, sliced apples, or another side of your choice.
Drizzle with maple syrup if desired.
